The GA-P31-S3G supports Intel Core 2 Extreme processor/ Intel Core 2 Quad processor/ Intel Core 2 Duo processor/ Intel Pentium processor Extreme Edition/Intel Pentium D processor/ Intel Pentium 4 processor Extreme Edition/Intel Pentium 4 processor/ and Intel Celeron processors. It features an all-solid capacitator for CPU VRM for electric conductivity and heat resistance. The 6-channel audio with S/O-DIF function allows users to receive seamless audio while wathcing movies or gaming. This model also features the Intel P31 Express chipset, which supports processors up to 1333 MHz FSB, for added efficiency.
Model upgrades would include the GA-P31-ES3G which features the ferrite core choke for CPU VRM, for electric conductivity and heat resistance, as well as being equipped with DualBIOS protection, which will automatically recover lost BIOS information if the system were to crash.
