Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DQ6
$280.00
Released November, 2007
The Pros:BIOS has a relatively high number of options, and BIOS updates are straightforward. Consistently stable voltage performance. Receptive to overclocking, stable for up to a GHz of excess and accessible through BIOS.
The Cons:Difficult to get 4GB RAM arrays to work, frequent faults. Maximum of 2.3V to DDR2 arrays is too low for some higher-end modules. Power cable connection to PCIe slot must be stretched over many other slots, can be inconvenient.
