Gigabyte GA-EP45-Extreme
$280.00
Released May, 2008
The Pros:Very large heat sink for this class of motherboard. Intuitive overclocking controls integrated directly into BIOS. Built-in LED indicator informs about voltage and temperature, unique and convenient.
The Cons:PCI and SATA ports are close to the graphics card port, can be eclipsed by larger graphics cards. Only three system fan connections is low for this price point and intended use. Heat sink may get in the way of dedicated CPU coolers, or vice versa.
