The EVGA X58 SLI LE is an ATX motherboard released in mid-2009. This “Limited Edition” board differs from the standard EVGA X58 SLI with its all-black design and an extra PCI-E slot. Primary features include support for the Intel Core i7 processor, four PCI-E lanes and a maximum of 24GB DDR3 memory.

In terms of peripherals, 12 USB 2.0 and 2 FireWire 1394A connections are available. A total of 6 SATA 3 GB/s ports have also been integrated. Enthusiast features include onboard Clear CMOS, Power and Reset buttons with built-in power and HDD LED indicator lights. These additions are designed to make life easier for users who are consistently opening their case for modifications. Overclocking is well supported with 100% solid state capacitors and an onboard CPU temperature readout. EVGA includes several software-based overclocking tools, including Vdroop Control for stabilizing voltages and E-LEET Tuning Utility for immediate access to BIOS-level overclocking settings.
