$259.00 Released July, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Supports 3-way SLI. Supports up to 8GB of DDR2 1200MHz. Superior power regulation over lesser models (8-phase design).

The Cons:Featuring the same chipset cooler as lesser models this is probably one hot momma. Getting fairly expensive, especially for young gamers.

To optimize overclocking stability it comes installed with a built in water block that supports either liquid or air cooling. It also provides dual gigabit LAN like its predecessor, 8 channel HD audio as opposed to 7.1, and 8 SATA 2 ports instead of 6. Of course matching the original board the FTW mobo also supports 3 way SLI through 3 PCI-e x16 slots, and socket LGA 775 support for Intel processors (45nm Intel microprocessors/ Quad-core / Core 2 Extreme / Core 2 Duo and Pentium). For peripherals the board also contains 4 Dual Channel 240pin DDR2 1066MHZ (up to 1200MHz, 8GB max) slots, 3 PCI-e x16, 1 PCI-e, 2 PCI, 8 SATA-2 3GB/s connectors, 2 x1GB LAN ports, and 6 USB 2.0 ports. The FTW board was released on 7/25/2008 and retails at an MSRP price of $259.
