The P5N-T is Intel socket LGA 775 ready meaning it supports Intel Quad-core, Core 2 Extreme, Core 2 Duo and Pentium processors as well as the new 45nm multi-core CPUs. ASUS claims the P5N-T is one of the most energy efficient in the world through the use of ASUS EPU technology which digitally maintains the CPU power supply. The P5N also includes a heat pipe which ASUS notes lowers the overall mobo temp by up to 10 deg Celsius. For memory the motherboard contains 4 DIMM slots which support dual channel DDR2 1066+ ram modules up to 8GB maximum.
