Asus P5G43T-M PRO
$80.00
Released July, 2009
The Pros:Onboard "quadrophonic" audio mode produces higher quality sound than many competing boards. Very high number of USB ports, very convenient for users with lots of peripherals. Three onboard video ports are great for this price, especially HDMI.
The Cons:SATA ports tend to get in the way of dedicated video cards, especially larger ones. Does not support any RAID drives. Only 2 RAM slots limits potential capacity.

The video is an integrated Intel GMA X4500 with both onboard DVI and HDMI outputs. The BIOS can be flashed from a USB stick before the operating system boots, removing the need for a floppy drive or a Windows install. Integrated into the BIOS are several ASUS overclocking features, such as Turbo V, which is in-BIOS overclocking configuration, and Turbo Key, which allows the user to configure the power button as an instant-on overclocking button. Like on nearly all modern ASUS motherboards, the ASUS Energy Processing Unit integrates with the BIOS for energy-management features, such as intelligent fan monitoring, voltage monitoring, and power management.
