The ASRock P41C-DE motherboard is part of ASRock's Socket 775 motherboard series; and serves as a slight down-grade from the G41C-VS model. The P41C model features the Intel G41 North-bridge chipset and Intel ICH7 South-bridge chipset. The P41C motherboard also supports a unique DDR2 (1066MHz) and DDR3 (1333MHz) memory function which allows users to connect both types of memory. Additional options include a Gigabit (10/100/100) LAN, 1 PCI-E x16 expansion slot, 4 on-board SATA 3.0GB/s connectors, full 7.1 channel HD audio (VIA 1708S Audio Codec), and unique ASROCK BIOS Software. The P41C model also features a larger 8MB AMI Legal BIOS whereas the also similar and lower end G31M-GSR2.0 model only features a 4MB BIOS.
