The ASRock 890GM Pro3 is built on the AM3 socket, meaning Phenom II and Athlon II multi-core processors are compatible with this board. Since this product contains built-in Radeon HD 4290 graphics, users can add a separate video card for use with AMD’s Hybrid CrossFireX multi-GPU technology. While only one USB 3.0 port is built-in, a total of five high-speed SATA 6 Gb/s connectors are available for use with hard drives. A wide range of overclocking options are supported, while 100% Japanese-made capacitors allow for the ASRock 890GM Pro3 to accommodate overclocking with greater ease.
